Canadian Medical Imaging Inventory

Medical imaging is critical to diagnosing, monitoring and, in some cases, treating a vast array of illnesses and conditions, from cancer to internal injury. As imaging technologies advance, old machines are decommissioned, and new machines are installed, there is a need to keep track of where imaging capacity exists.

CADTH has created an inventory to capture this information, recording where specific medical imaging machines are located and how they are being used. This information can help guide decisions in health technology management and policy, and it paves the way for ongoing exploration of medical imaging questions.
