Nordion cancels deal with Russian firm, considers another company

Canadian company Nordion said it has ended its isotope deal with a subsidiary of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corp. The deal concerns the provision of raw material for the isotope molybdenum-99. Nordion said it is now considering a partnership with the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors, also part of State Atomic Energy Corp. Reuters
